Pink dolphins in Peru

Your journey begins with a welcome at the airport and a smooth transfer to your hotel in Leticia. The adventure unfolds as we cross the Amazon River toward Santa Rosa, Peru 🇵🇪. This peaceful riverside village opens a window into authentic Amazonian life. Here, you’ll experience the unforgettable thrill of spotting pink dolphins, the rare and magical freshwater dolphins of the Amazon.

Wild Brazil

From there, we continue across the border into Tabatinga, Brazil 🇧🇷, where a guided walk takes us to a wildlife rescue cente. Here live animals that were once taken by smugglers but later rescued. The visit continues to a scenic lookout point offering panoramic views of the Amazon River and rainforest.

Parrots Concert

As the day winds down, we return to Leticia, Colombia 🇨🇴. The lively heart of the Colombian Amazon welcomes you with its colors, markets, and energy. As the sun sets, you’ll be treated to a truly magical experience: the natural concert of Amazonian parrots — a symphony of the rainforest to close your first day in the Amazon.

Day 2

Tarapoto Lake

The day begins with a boat ride to Puerto Nariño, where we set course for the legendary Tarapoto Lakes. Surrounded by pristine jungle and mirrored waters, the lake is home to an incredible variety of wildlife: scarlet macaws, toucans, eagles and hawks. Along the shores, you may spot aquatic ducks resting, while beneath the surface lurk piranhas—which you’ll have the chance to fish in true Amazonian style. With a bit of luck, the mystical pink river dolphins will appear, and perhaps even the mighty paiche (arapaima), one of the largest freshwater fish in the world.

Night in the Jungle

Our journey continues with a visit to the local community, where elders share ancestral stories and traditions, and dancers in vibrant costumes bring these tales to life through music and movement.
As night falls, the adventure takes a magical turn: a guided night walk through the rainforest. With lanterns in hand, you’ll discover the hidden world of the jungle after dark — spotting caimans, scorpions, and even tarantulas that reveal the Amazon’s mysterious beauty under the stars.

Day 3

San Antonio de Cacao (Peru)

The day begins with a city tour of Puerto Nariño, where colorful streets and river views reflect the calm rhythm of Amazonian life.. From there, we cross into community San Antonio de Cacao, where elders share stories passed down through generations — tales of their people — while dancers in traditional dress bring these legends to life with vibrant movement.

Sloths and Sacred Giant Tree

A guided jungle walk reveals the gentle presence of sloths and leads to a majestic sacred giant tree, a symbol of the forest’s spirit. As evening falls, we return to Puerto Nariño to rest and enjoy its tranquil rhythm.

Day 4

Community Yagua

The day begins with a trip to the Yagua community, where elders share the fascinating history of their people. You’ll witness a traditional dance and learn about the ancestral practices of mambe, rapé, and ambil, sacred rituals that connect the community to the forest and its wisdom.

Yukuna

We continue to the lively Isla de los Micos, home to playful monkeys, and then to the Yukuna community for hands-on experiences: piranha fishing, dolphin watching, and a guided jungle walk. The journey closes at waterfall El Encanto del Gallo, where the sounds of nature and cascading waters bring a magical farewell to the Amazon.

Day 5

Tabatinga, Brazil

We return to Leticia, the lively Colombian capital of the Amazon, and then we cross the border into Tabatinga, Brazil. Here, the senses come alive with a gastronomic tour, tasting the region’s unique flavors, followed by a walk through artisan markets, where local crafts tell stories of the forest and its people. As evening approaches, the energy rises with a dazzling garotas show, full of music and dance, before the day ends in serenity, watching the sunset over the Amazon River — a perfect farewell to your journey through three countries of the rainforest.
